Starting Tuesday, July 29 we will be opening the area under the net for picking the Elliots. Sorry, but this year we are not allowing children under 12 under the net due to problems we had last year - no, not even in strollers, backpack child carriers or any other device - NO exceptions. If you want to pick under the net, please wear hats with no buttons, snaps or other things that can snag on the net. Leave your hair free of clasps, and other devices. The same goes for shirts, pants and shoes - wear things that are free of buttons, snaps and hooks. If you want to bring your young children, you can still pick the open field where we still have Blue Crop, Blue Ray and Covilles that should get bigger with the recent rain. We are still fighting the birds but have been able to keep berries available in a good part of the open field.
There will be NO blackberries this season due to the tough winter.
See our schedule for complete days and hours during the season.
WEATHER ALERT. YES - WE CLOSE WHEN THERE IS LIGHTNING NEARBY. NO - WE ARE NOT METEOROLOGISTS AND CAN'T TELL YOU IF WE ARE GOING TO GET LIGHTNING OR NOT. WE MONITOR THIS SITE TO DETERMINE IF LIGHTNING IS IMMINENT. WE EXPECT YOU TO MONITOR THE WEATHER IN YOUR OWN WAY AND MAKE A RESPONSIBLE DECISION.
